Demers
François Demers is a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (PHC NP) at Clinique Médicale 360. In this role, he is authorized to assess patients, establish diagnoses, prescribe diagnostic tests and treatments, and provide comprehensive medical follow-up, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, when required.
A graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke, François has extensive clinical experience acquired in primary care, emergency medicine, and acute care settings, both in urban environments and in remote regions. For more than 10 years, he has practiced in several demanding clinical contexts, including the emergency department at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, a trauma unit in Seattle, United States, as well as in northern regions of Nunavik, where he worked for several years with Indigenous communities in Québec. His professional background also includes international clinical experience in South Africa and India, which has enriched his understanding of global health issues and cross-cultural medicine.
François adopts a rigorous, compassionate, and patient-centred approach, grounded in evidence-based medicine, prevention, and therapeutic education, with a constant focus on quality, safety, and continuity of care.
