As a West Island native, Dr. Brandon Katz has had the privilege of providing medical care in over four countries, across two continents. After completing his undergraduate degree in psychology at McGill University, he elected to pursue his medical degree in Cork, Ireland. While in Europe, he practiced Medicine in Ireland, the UK and France prior to completing a rural family medicine residency in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. There, he perfected his skills in emergency medicine as well as in minor surgery. Dr. Katz has recently embarked on a quest to further his knowledge in the fields of dermoscopy and headache medicine. He also enjoys employing his procedural skills to treat and repair minor lacerations in clinic.
Dr. Katz’s academic pursuits range from publications in renowned medical journals, to developing a system-based approach to maximize efficiency in emergency rooms across the country.
