STBBI screening

Prevention and screening for Sexually Transmitted and Blood-borne Infections (STBBIs)
Sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections don’t necessarily have obvious symptoms, and one may harbour them without knowing. For this reason, STTBIs can only be confirmed via positive screening tests. Since peace of mind – or prompt treatment – are always best, book a screening appointment right away if you’ve had unprotected sex, or think you’ve had a risky encounter.
Our STBBI screening options: see a nurse for symptomless screening or a doctor for treatment.
No symptoms? Our nurses manage routine testing.
Clinique Médicale 360’s nurses can administer the following STBBI tests to asymptomatic clients who are not pregnant, and are aged 16, or older
- Neisseria gonorrhoeae (gonococci) infection
- chlamydia trachomatis infection
- syphilis
- hepatitis B and hepatitis C
- HIV
Whether you just need a regular check-up or feel you’ve had sexual relations that put you at risk, after chatting with you, the nurse will identify the STBBI test-s you need. You’ll get results the following day, and we’ll immediately refer you to one of our doctors should you need treatment. Know that screening for some STBBIs requires a second test a few weeks after the first.
STBBI screening and diagnosis consultation with a doctor
If you have symptoms, are less than 16 years old, or are pregnant, you’ll see one of our MDs for STBBI screening and diagnosis. We’ll confidentially message you the next day with your test results. Treatment will start right away if you need it.
